Last week, the Opening Session of the Young Religious Leadership Development Program for the 2024-2025 cohort took place at the St. Paul of the Cross Retreat Center in Detroit, MI. National Office staff members, Fr. Frank Donio, SAC, Executive Director, and David Rohrer Budiash, Director of Programs, welcomed the cohort and assisted the Young Religious Program co-facilitators Fr. Jimmy Hsu, CSP, and Genevieve Jordan Laskey.
The Young Religious Program will continue with monthly online sessions covering three key areas of leadership development: the interior life of the leader, collaboration skills with community members and partners, and preparing for adaptive leadership challenges. The program will conclude at the 2025 National Assembly. Program participants will receive a certificate in leadership development earned through St. Joseph’s College of Maine.
