CMSM 2024 Eldercare Summit Part 1 – The Transition from “Caring for Others” to “Caring for Each Other”

Join us for the eighth annual Eldercare Summit, focused on planning for an aging institute. Sessions will discuss the theological and spiritual framework for planning as male religious as well as present models of planning that can be applied to different types of communities in different situations. There will be ample opportunity to discuss the presentations and apply them to your own community during the afternoon.

Because Part 1 of this year’s Summit focuses on planning, both those in leadership and those responsible for delivering care are encouraged to attend.

This year, the Eldercare Summit will be split into two sections with Part 1 occurring September 10, 2024 and Part 2 occurring in early 2025. Between the meetings, there will be an opportunity for CMSM members to discuss their eldercare planning at the CMSM regional meetings, and further input from the regional meetings and questions will be addressed at Part 2.

The mission of the Eldercare Summit is to support leaders in their decision-making and accompaniment of elder members of their community. Join us for this excellent opportunity to reflect, learn, share, and network about common eldercare issues.
