Vision

El IBICLA asume una visión ecuménica influenciada por los nuevos aportes de los métodos bíblicos, con la intención de empoderar a todos los grupos minoritarios que han sido marginados por lecturas (ab)usivas de las Escrituras.  Nuestra tarea es aportar a los “nuevos sujetos emergentes” métodos exegéticos, y hermenéuticas liberadoras, para que unan mejor su vida con la Biblia en comunidad.

Costo

El costo total para el 2018 será de $2000 por las dos semanas. Incluye, registración, clases, comida, hospedaje, talleres etc.

 

Requisitos

  • 21 años de edad en adelante
  • Tener deseos de aprender la Palabra de Dios para servir
  • Estar involucrados en algún ministerio hispano.
  • Estar dispuesto/a a trabajar en conjunto
  • Llenar una aplicación
  • Estar abiertos ha descubrir a Dios no solo en las Escrituras sino en la vida y en la experiencia del pueblo migrante.

Critical Skills for Pastoral Leadership: Enhancing Management Through Practical Wisdom

In consultation with the National Leadership Roundtable on Church Management, Catholic Theological Union (CTU) presents Critical Skills for Pastoral Leadership: Enhancing Management through Practical Wisdom. The seminar begins at 1pm on Monday and ends at noon on Friday. It has been especially helpful for colleagues and co-workers to attend the seminar together so as to reflect on their experience and enhance their skills.

The program is open to all men and women, ordained and professed, as well as lay, who serve in a leadership capacity in church or congregational ministry. It will be especially beneficial for those in new positions of pastoral leadership. The following topics will be presented and discussed:

Responding to the Call: The Gift of Community

Leaders – and emerging leaders – of men’s religious communities (members of CMSM and CRC) are invited to participate in a retreat-style conference that includes input and reflection time on living a joyful, healthy and resilient life as a member of a religious community. A detailed conference schedule will be provided by Southdown in September 2018.

The Leadership Gathering 2019 is co-hosted by Southdown and CMSM, and held at the peaceful Redemptorist Renewal Center next to the Saguaro National Park West in Tucson, Arizona.
