CMSM 2024 Safeguarding Ministry Conference| Bethany Center in Lutz, FL
Conference: October 14-17
Retreat: October 17-18
Embracing Commitment: Protecting God’s Vulnerable
Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, the in-person conference is canceled. We have moved the conference to a virtual format. If you have any questions, please email Greta David ([email protected]).
Join us for the 20th annual Safeguarding Ministry Conference as we continue to embrace our commitment to protecting God’s vulnerable.
Over the years, this event has evolved from the Supervision Workshop to the Safeguarding Workshop to its current format: a conference focused on helping male religious in all aspects of their safeguarding ministry. Embracing this evolution, the Safeguarding Workshop has been renamed this year as the “Safeguarding Ministry Conference.”
Like past years, we will maintain our skills-building breakouts on the core competencies in caring for young and vulnerable persons but will also continue to address newer issues, such as adult misconduct and the role of leadership in safeguarding ministry. The Conference will feature plenaries, breakouts, a panel, and the opportunity to network and discuss with other leaders of religious communities and safeguarding ministers.
Join us to pray, learn, build new skills, and support each other in this ministry that continues to be challenging. We look forward to welcoming you and learning from your experience in safeguarding ministry!
